Morehead Planetarium and Science Center at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in North Carolina was used to train Gemini and Apollo program astronauts in celestial navigation. It is one of the oldest and largest planetariums in the United States, opened in 1949. 

This detailed ornament is cut from solid Black Cherry hardwood grown and milled in the USA. A non-toxic, food-safe oil finish brings out the beauty of the wood and protects it for years.
