Welcome home - to the Milky Way, that is! Did you know that we study the Milky Way through gamma-ray astronomy - that is, the most energetic form of electromagnetic radiation. Although it's harder to study something when you're literally in the middle of it, we're steadily learning more and more about our galaxy. 

This Milky Way Galaxy ornament is made from Black Cherry wood grown and milled in the USA!  The quote, "To confine our attention to terrestrial matters would be to limit the human spirit." A quote by Steven Hawking.  The ornament is finished with a non-toxic food-safe oil to enhance and protect the natural beauty of the wood.

Ornament comes tied with a hanging ribbon and bow (also made in the USA).
